I'm invoking Judgment.

Here's the question: May we revoke bonobo's "player" status until she starts posting again?

Judgment: bonobo hereby ceases to be a player.

Commentary: Rule 305 (formerly rule 105) notes, " Every player is an eligible voter. Every eligible voter must participate in every vote on rule-changes."

There is a strong game precedent that this is interpreted to mean that people who fail to vote in a vote on a rule-change in a reasonable time cease to be players. While this does not seem to be the most natural interpretation of this rule to this Judge (if a law says, "A citizen shall report at the appointed time and place when called for jury duty," and someone fails to show up, they don't cease to be a citizen!), I choose to abide by established game precedent here. It has been over 6 days since voting began on proposed rule-change 308, which by any measure is plenty of time to vote. Indeed, in informal discussion regarding possible minimum times for voting, I do not recall anyone advocating anything longer than 48 hours.
