Is it possible that a player can earn over 7,000 karma in just one week of voting?  This player occupies top best karma position in less than 24 hours.  The last time I checked the list was 12 hours ago and never I have seen his name even on top ten.

Maybe I was wrong in bringing this up but, an explanation from trusted moderators is appreciated considering each time we clicked moderate industries link, it says, "There are about 1,010 (or less) votes needing moderation."  If there are 1,010 votes to moderate, and when I logged off 12 hours ago, his name was not even in top ten list, is this some kind of magic?

I want to know, please?

Thank you for your time,

Laila*

Actually Laila - as I repeated three seperate times in IRC - I have been on the list for a few days now - Slowly moving up. Don't know how you missed my name on the list for that long - But I was on the list all weekend long. In fact - I was number one over 24 hours ago.

I see no reason at this stage to explain anything. Looks to me like you simply missed me =)

I won't hold it against you though.

I don't find any valid reason for you to take this against me personally, Raymond.  Let's be professional and we will based the complaint and investigation based on your transaction log.

I seek fair game and integrity of all best karma players that we earned those karma based on human invested time and dedication voting / moderating NOT because of bot exploitation.

Nice of you to edit your post - instead of replying. Anyhow - If you take a look at this thread you will note that voting a blog into the language and country based on the "fr" extension was acceptable.

Surely you won't deny that all of these are weblogs, or that Iran is part of the middle east. The moderators did approve my votes after all. If you have a problem with any of those industries - I suggest you take it up with the moderators who approved them. Personally, I feel they are acceptable votes.

As for me taking this personally - I specifically said the opposite Laila. I stated I would not hold it against you.

It is late here (3 am) and I am heading to bed. Have fun digging through my logs. You will see your initial complaint was false - by simply looking at the numbers I have put out - that I have been on the top 10 List for several days.

My votes have been consistently approved. I am sorry you don't like that - but it is your option to moderate and reject the votes you don't like. However:

Rayancowboy's blog @ PersianBlog   Weblogs   +5   12:15 29 Sep 2004
Rayancowboy's blog @ PersianBlog   Farsi   +5   12:15 29 Sep 2004
Rayancowboy's blog @ PersianBlog   Iran   +5   12:15 29 Sep 2004

there is an example of you accepting those votes. Thank you and good night Laila.

EDIT: I think you should seriously watch yourself before bringing up the word bot. It's not my fault I have more time to vote than you (or is it?)

I clicked post instead of preview.  My message wasn't finished yet as I was copying your log transaction as a basis of my complaint.

Prove to us how you have gained over 7000 karma in the last three days!

EDIT: I think you should seriously watch yourself before bringing up the word bot. It's not my fault I have more time to vote than you (or is it?)

I know I was one of the fastest players when it comes to buying/selling but when it comes to voting/moderating, I took time and dedication, this is why I know how fast a player can vote and moderate.  Your transaction logs will show how many you have voted in one minute, which is impossible for average normal vote made by humans this is why I said "bot" exploitation.

Let others review your vote and moderation transaction log, nothing personal really, just want to know if there is some kind of magical stuffs happening right at the tip of our noses.

Prove to us how you have gained over 7000 karma in the last three days!

Your poor math is really starting to get annoying...

8 days Laila. Have been saying this since IRC... 8 days. Give or take 2 since I can't remember exactly when I started.

And it was only 6K. As I have stated to you already - I started out with over 1K before going into heavy voting. I urge you to read through the transaction log and learn to add up rows and pages a little better to get an idea of my voting over the past week.

Unfortunately the on-site log only has the last 5000 votes - you will surely take the time to notice that it was more than three days ago that I made the first recorded vote.

Here is a link to the first recorded vote - let me do some math for you Laila:

Each Vote page holds 50 votes.
There are only 100 Pages in the on-site history.

50*100=5000.

The first recorded vote was on 08:53 29 Sep 2004.

So 5K votes in six days ( I say six days because the first vote was the morning of Sep. 29th, the last on the evening of Oct. 4th), not 7K in three. Lets not try to skew the facts in your favor Laila. Please make sure you have a grasp on the facts before you start throwing out accusations or implications that could have an account suspended. As for the bot accusation Laila - I suggest you leave that up to admin who have far better tools to research an account.

This was just too amusing to give up for bed... haha.

Honestly, Ray, have you not got anything better to do than vote all these blogs into those industries?

Laila, there's nothing inherently wrong with what Ray has been doing, he's just a little sad for voting so much into the same industries. I'm sure he won't mind me saying that Wink

I do think it's not showing much imagination to vote so repetitively, but the votes have been moderated and the index integrity hasn't been harmed. These do appear to be valid votes after all.

I don't see any evidence to suggest that a bot has been in use - just a very  persistant individual who wanted a lot of Karma and chips.

I take no offense to that whatsoever rutty.

If it helps - I have been voting on Japanese blogs as well - though I agree they are completely overshadowed by my PersianBlogs infatuatuion.

I am not going to turn this into an I told you so Laila. Next time I would appreciate you actually listening to what I tell you. You blatantly ignored me every single time I told you I hadn't voted all of those industries overnight. I told you it had been over a week. First you accuse me of lying and that I did it in 12 hours. Then you change your story to 24 hours, then you change it yet again to three days. You only relented after I pointed out the fault in the math (which you most likely never did - you simply targeted me).

There are many threads dedicated to the type of voting I have done over the last week - and everyone of them has said it was ok. I don't appreciate being called out - especially after I tried explaining it to you in IRC. Blatantly ignoring someone on such a serious matter is beneath you Laila - and unfair gameplay. In the future I trust you will investigate things a little more closely - or at least listen to the accused's comments before bannishing them into the land of guilt and filing a complaint.

There are two reasons I come to the forums.

One - to see if there are any responses to my posts or messages to check.

Two - to see who Laila is accusing, reprimanding or scolding.

Laila, the threads in which you are doing one of the above are far too numerous. It's ridiculous that so many have to answer to you for various accusations of cheating or unfair play. I've even seen you ridicule someone for not wanting to give or trade you something.

Many people see you as a joke because of this stuff.
I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to let you know what your pettiness has caused. Namely in how others see you.

The reasons you do these things are puzzling to me. Either you are bucking for a BSEC spot or you're just mean and petty. (I sincerely hope it's the former)

I, for one, would rather be entertained by trollie's "wanderings" than petty accusations.

Any chance you'll stop?

Due to racial discrimation in this forum, I am locking this thread until something became clear to me...

Obviously, it was the second reason. Yet another accusation from a mean-spirited individual.

Laila, nothing I said was racist nor did I have a racist thought when posting.

I do resent your labelling me as such and, as far as I'm concerned, nothing you say from here on matters.

You obviously have issues that need to be addressed (therapy is an option) and I think it senseless to have any other conversation with you.

Get some help. Rid yourself of the meanness and pettiness and live a fuller, more productive life.
