Tickers

Tickers provide a scrolling stock ticker of specific blogs or industries that you choose providing constantly updating information at a glance. The ticker is a Premium tool.

In order to see your ticker screen, click on the link at the top of any page, located next to the PQ size.

That link will open up a pop-up window displaying any stock and/or ideas that you are tracking.

You can have a ticker for up to 20 different "Stocks & Shares" and a ticker for up to 20 different "Industries and Ideas". Remember, it costs 10 chips per stock/share/industry/idea to put them on your ticker. Also, industry tickers must be renewed every month or they will expire. It costs 10 chips per industry to renew.

Adding a stock/share/industry/idea to your ticker

In order to add a stock or share to your ticker, you have to go to the Blogshares Profile page for that stock. There will be a link in the Premium Member Menu that says "Add to Ticker". Click on the link and the stock will now be tracked in your ticker window.

In order to add an industry or idea to your ticker, you have to go to the Industry page for that idea. There will be a link towards the top of the page that says "Add to Ticker". Click on the link and the stock will now be tracked in your ticker window. (Don't forget that it costs 10 chips every month per industry to renew.)

Removing a stock/share/industry/idea from your ticker

You can remove a displayed stock/share/industry/idea from your ticker in one of two ways.
