Overview
Once logged in, you'll notice the Members Area box on the right-side of the page, (pictured to the right, just about where you will find it on the main site) showing information about your account. Naturally, the first thing you will see is your login name, your BlogShares userid or Player ID (in this example, 23669), and your role, if any.
Immediatlly following is a section called Your Links. Premium Members can select up to 10 links, non-Premium can select 3. Premium Members can also add custom link URLs. These provide handy shortcuts to other parts of the site.
The Big Table
The next table provides at a glance information about your account, including the current system time, your cash balance, Karma, Sigma, Chips, and the date your Premium membership will expire.
Additionally, free accounts will show the number of remaining shares and ideas transactions for the current 24hr period. Free accounts are limited to 20 share transactions and 20 Idea transactions per day. Purchasing a Premium Membership costs less than 5 US pennies per day, and removes transaction limits for one full year.
