What is a Blog Listing?
The Blog listing is the information found on the blogs.php - there are many, many sections that we will be looking at in turn.
Menus
Some or all of these menus will appear on each blog listing.
Premium Menu
- Set Notes - Set a helpful note on the blog
- Request Re-index - Re-index this blog using the Priority_Queue
- Re-Index Incoming - Re-index the blogs incoming links using the Priority_Queue
- Watch Blog - Add the blog to your Watch List
- Add to Ticker - Add the blog to your Tickers
Owner Menu
- Edit Blog - Edit details about the blog.
- LBO - Perform a Leveraged Buy-Out
- Stock Split - Preform a Stock_Split
- Reverse Stock Split - Perform a Reverse Stock Split
- Issues Shares - Issue more shares in the blog.
- Press Release - Write a Press Release for the blog.
Artefact Menu
- Use one or more Artefacts on the blog.
General Section
This section gives you an overview of the blog.
- URL - The URL of the blog.
- BSID # - The BSID of the blog, and internal numeric identifier.
- Valuation - The base Blog Valuation
- Added - The date the blog was added to the system
- Status - The blog's status.
- Owner - The owner of the blog, if any.
- Industries - The Industries the blog has been voted into.
- Problem? - A link to report title changes or dead blogs.
Statistics Section
This gives the general statistics of the blog
- Incoming Links - A count of the number of incoming links to the blog at last reindex.
- Outgoing Links - A count of the number of outgoing links from the blog at last reindex.
- Outgoing Link Value - The value to other blogs of an outgoing link from this blog.
- Market Share - The overall percentage that this blog accounts for in the total value of the shares market.
Share Market Section
This gives an overview of the shares of the blog.
- Total Shares - The total number of shares in the blog, typically 5,000
- Public Held Shares - The number of shares on the Public Market
- Price - Price per Share
- P/E - The P/E Ratio of the blog.
- Highest Price - The most recent high price of the blog.
- Lowest Price - The most recent low price of the blog.
- Trading Volume - The number of share trades in the blog for the past 24 hours.
- A.E.L. - The Artefact Efficiency Level - how effective an artefact usage will be on the blog.
Recent Buys / Sells Section
This gives a table of the recent buys and sell for the blog. Artefact usage is also shown here depending on how and if shares moved.
Tracking Section
This provides the Blog Valuation tracking date for up to the last 9 reindexes.
The two graphs are simply a visual representation of the table.
The table headings:
- Date
- Inc. Links - number of incoming links the blog has.
- Out. Links - number of outgoing links the blog has.
- Value - the blogs base valuation
- Out. Link Value - the value of a link to another blog from this one.
Shares Tracking Section
This provides a view of the share price tracking data over time.
Shares Owners Section
This is a table of the current owners of this blogs stock.
Other Sections
On most blogs, a full list of incoming and outgoing links will also be provided, along with a link to add an AltURL is appropriate.
