Artefact PP

Pressure Public, or PP is a type of Artefact usage.

This move allows the player to acquire all public shares in a blog at half market price. The blog must be within the artefact's industry.

Net Effects

For shareholders in the blog, they may see the share price plummet as it adjusts to this new low buy price, resulting in a net loss to the shareholders. The P/E, however, is not affected usually until the next trade in the stock. This may bring shareholders an opportunity to attempt a Hostile Takeover of the blog stock using their artefacts, too. For the player doing a Pressure Public, he or she acquires stock shares very cheaply (at half price), so for this person, it might be a good move.
