Spork Chess Rules

The eventual winner of Spork Chess shall enjoy one Jewelry upgrade. The winner is the player who owns the last remaining King. Players shall receive 1 Sporko for each Spork Chess piece they capture.

Players start with 1 King surrounded by 2 Queens and 6 random pieces.

Daily at midnight EST, players with an uncaptured King receive next to that King, if space is available, a number of random pieces equal to the total number of Kings on the board minus two.

Each player may cause each of their pieces to move up to 8 squares according to normal chess rules, with the following exceptions:

- Pawns may move or capture one or two spaces in any direction
- Pieces may move 18 hours after creation or their last move

Players move by posting "MOVE [piece#] [x] [y]"

CASTLE [rook number] - A King and a Rook up to 5 squares cardinally apart with no intervening pieces may switch places as their move.

If two players participated in the previous Spork Chess game, the next game may be automatically started.
