I don't think there is much we can do about this, folks. gerryblog is the judge and we can be quite sure that he will rule to preserve his victory no matter what. Since ctmf has left gerryblog in charge of his vote, there will be 4 votes against overruling, so any judgement gerryblog makes will stand.

Is there interest in trying this again? Maybe we can go for the earlier idea of starting literally from scratch, rather than with the broken Suber ruleset.
On behalf of anyone else who thinks this sucks, this sucks. It's an abuse of semantics, where "not within" includes "far beyond", definitely not the reading that either the author of the proposal nor many of the voters subscribed to.

I'd also like to thank shelleycat for her help in this victory. I was ready to completely ignore the PTF until she got all fancy and tried to take away my points. That was the lightbulb moment for me.
