Invocation: require jay to implement Aaron's gold star in the foliage theme.

In this invocation, I raise the following questions:
1) Is jay required to apply a gold star to appear by Aaron's name on his posts in the forums in the foliage theme?
2) Is there a time limit in which jay must perform this, and if so, what?
3) What is the penalty to be applied (if any) if jay fails to perform this?

Prior to the previous judgment, I did not consider the implementation of Aaron's side offer to be my concern--it was, as I saw it, a private agreement binding only Aaron and those who had voted yes on it.

However, the previous judgment ruled that the side offer is part of the game and binding upon all players, regardless of whether they voted for it or not. Thus, its proper enforcement is now of concern to all players, including myself, and failure to enforce the offer only promotes a lack of respect for the law, and the anarchy which must inevitably result.

As of the time of posting this invocation, no gold star appears by Aaron's name in his forum postings when they are viewed under the "foliage" theme. I ask the judge to confirm that jay is required to implement this, as well as rule upon a time limit for this, and an appropriate penalty if jay fails to implement it within the required time.

(Note: this affects completion of the current turn in at least two ways. First, the completion of the turn could be affected by whatever penalty the judge sees fit to apply. Second, those of us who view the site under the "foliage" theme are lacking a visible reminder of Aaron's wisdom, grace, and magnimous spirit, and without that reminder, we might not give Aaron's comments as much weight as they deserve, which affects our votes on proposals, whether we consent to move on, etc.)

My understanding was that jay was working on the gold star for the foliage theme. Am I wrong about that? I'll wait on the other aspects of the question until we hear from jay on this.

Yes, I publicly promised to have it implemented before I take points, if that is acceptable to the court. Clarification of any further steps I would need to take to be finished with my responsibilities on this matter would be appreciated.

Not using the foliage theme myself, I had no idea that jay was continuing to neglect his contractual obligations - I just assumed that he was a man of honour who could be trusted. I see now that "trust but verify" is the order of the day when dealing with jay and his kind.

It warms my heart to see that we are all looking out for my best interests, and ready to call out those who would deny my special and unique rights as primus inter pares. Bless you, Chuck. You set an excellent example for us all.

Ah, pardon me, I see that jay was merely malingering rather than being willfully negligent. Carry on, then.

Since jay will be eligible to take his points tomorrow at midnight, that seems like an acceptable deadline to this court, barring any objections.

It's on Foliage now, in a slightly different place.

The Side Offer specifies that the star is to be in front of Aaron's name. The current placement in the foliage theme is not compliant with the terms of the Side Offer.

The star is now in front of Aaron's name in Foliage, separated by some drupal words.

Thanks!

It brings meaning to my day.

Oh, I almost forgot: I withdraw this invocation.
