You can earn chips in a variety of ways:

- On a blog's BlogShare profile page, vote on what Industry (category) the blog belongs fits into. When a moderator approves your vote, you will get 1 karma point and a variable number of chips (see voting help).
- When you reach 750 karma through voting, you can moderate other votes yourself to earn more karma and chips.
- BlogShares contests - watch the front page for announcements.
- Refer your viewers to BlogShares and earn 5 chips with a link like this: http://blogshares.com/?referer=YOUR_USERID (the numeric one)
- Refer viewers to QuackTrack for 5 chips with: http://quacktrack.com/?referer=YOUR_USERID
You can spend chips lots of ways too:

- Hire somebody to help you in BlogShares Missions
