Delist Protection
I added code today to check for a delistable status code before actually performing a delist. Currently, IMs and Admin can set or unset the protection status. We may open this ability up to other groups in the near future as well. All claimed blogs were set to 'Protected' just a bit ago, so they shouldn't get caught accidently in spam sweeps or a 'revenge' error report. MrPilot set the current Top100 blogs to protected, and IMs have been encouraged to protect blogs that they come across that are active.
Comments
This is an excellent idea.
I never really thought about it, but with so many of us reporting dead blogs, there are bound to be mistakes.
I imagine it could be devastating to someone's game-play to have a highly valued blog disappear...not to mention bloggers, who count on sites like blogshares for increased traffic.

I have come across some dead/non blogs on the top 100... i think the top 100 should be checked as usual as IM's can (which can take long :)) so this doesnt happen, and since this blogs are going to be protected...
Cheers!

Sounds good, but is there anything you can do to get my blog back into the system?
It's the URL below.
It got delisted, purposely or not, and now its blacklisted.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry about that, Wryen. It's been added back, protected from delisted, and had your claim added to it.
