New Contest, New Industries, New Artefacts: Oh My!
Linn Skinner and the Index Managers have been working hard cleaning up the index and adding new industry categories for blogs. Over the past week, over 70 industries have been added, including Lord of the Rings and Origami.

Speaking of new industries, Island Dave's BlogShares Blogging Contest #3 lets players offer up suggestions for new categories. Thanks to the generosity of many BlogSharers, five Premium Memberships, thousands of chips, and nearly $4 trillion in Blogshares cash will be awarded. Visit the contest forum thread for details.
For anyone keeping track, there are now 221 artefacts available in the game, including the newest, The Charcoal Pencil for the Drawing industry. Another new artefact will be released this weekend, so keep your eyes open for it.
If you've voted blogs into industries, you've noticed that each correct vote yields 1 karma point and 25 chips upon moderation. Now, the amount of chips awarded will be based on how specific the industry is in the index. For example, a correct vote into the Music industry will yield 5 chips, while a vote for the more specific industry of 50's Music will yield 10. Rock 'n' Roll would earn 15 chips. Karma rewards for voting and moderation remain unchanged. More discussion will take place in the forum over the next few days.

The contest is really good, but, am sad that I couldnot find time to play the game, where can I spend to participate in the contest :(
