Please thank in advance the new Math Team, comprised of the following volunteers: Admiral Justin, Alan Dean, Aine, Sprimal, and the current programming team. On review, we might need to throw AJ back.

Is it my impression or Morgaine was left outside of the Math Team?
Posted by: Afonso | June 8, 2004 11:59 PM
You are correct that Morgaine isn't on the list.
I also believe you're banned because of repeated bad behavior, Afonso, so until we determine that you aren't, please refrain from posting to any part of BlogShares.

But, I do reserve the right to express my thoughts about BS every time I feel I should do that. BS is publicly accessible, and to ban me can even be considered a violation of everyone's right to freedom of speech. It's also a sign of clear discrimination...Like a said, a good lawyer would have a great case here. You should feel lucky I lack the resources to go ahead...Have a nice day.

No, Afonso, you do not have the 'right' to be here. BlogShares is privately owned and does not discrimate on the basis of gender, ethnic background, or other constitutionally unacceptable factor. We, as most organizations do, reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. Look for those words in your local restaurant; they're posted so unruly customers can be denied service, to the benefit of civil customers. You have been asked not to post on BlogShares, and your continued abuse of this network verges on criminal trespass. So keep your legal threats in your pocket and please find another site to occupy your attention.

Jay is right, blogshares is a completely private entity and reserves all rights to manage the content of the website at their discretion. Free speech, and that kind of thing have no place they can be explicitly defined except for on government website.
This is not a government website.
I run forums, I've made it known that they do not have the freedom of speech. They have whatever freedoms I allow them to have. In my signature there, it even states:
"The administration and moderators of these forums reserve discretionary rights for the management of the forums, including editing, closing, or deleting of posts and/or topics."'
And you know what? There isn't a damn thing they can do about it.

P.S.
Jay owns the site, he can do whatever he damn well wants.
Until you get a court injunction stopping him, which you would never get, you just have to deal with it.

Yes Afonso, I'm not to be found on the Math Team. According to Jay, I have a "passive-aggressive schtick" to which he added there are generally negative vibes coming from my corner.
Obviously I disagree with him and I've posted my reply on the BlogShares forum.
